The Future of I Pad

The hype of the I Pad has indulged the consumer world of technologists, but will it continue to rise or is there a fall in the up comming future for this devise. With all the advances this product has to offer there are also some dissapointments within that may have a negative effect on this product. Pros and cons I have come across while researching the I Pad seem to even each other out, but I think it's for the user to decide.

Pro's-
            - Price around $500.
            - Size, 1.5 lbs and 5 in thick, very mobile.
            - 10 hr battery life with 1 month standby.
            - Optional transitional keyboard. Keyboard with dockor viritual keyboard.
            - Apps, runs almost 140,000 apps from App Store as well as a section in the App
Store that focuses on the I Pad.
            - No contract needed for 3G, as well as 2 options available 250mb=$14.99 or
              Ulimited=$29.99
            - HTML5, still developing next generation of HTML. HTML5 isn't fully there yet but
              it's promising.
Con's-
            - Multitasking, unable to run 2 apps at one time.
            - No HDMI out.
            - No camera, No skype, No i Chat
            - No Flash
            - Battery is built in, this means if the battery goes out you are screwed.
            - Said to be Unlocked, but unfortuanatly it casn't be used on T-Mobile. AT&T has
clogged networks with all the devises that are now connected to them.

With all that is said here reguarding the I Pad if I was the user I believe the con's listed might steer me away from the use of this product. Having an I Pod touch and or an I Phone I believe would equal to what this product offers. Yes it's cheap but I would want the extras that are not offered. My personal opinion is that if Apple does not fix these problems I don't see a big future for the I Pad.

Blogger Dies -vs- Don't Date Him Girl

After reading the Blogger Dies posts, I was reminded that good honest people are still among us. With so much negativity about the recession and it's effects on society, it's seemes to consume the lives of most all. I know for myself i have lost the outlook that people out there are still thinking of others and not just themselves during this difficult time. I try to keep positive in the sence of knowing that i cant't take what i have for granted due to how many families are in a more serious condition than myself. Thank You to all the soldiers who are sacraficing their world for the sake of others.

As far as don't date him girl goes I was a bit surprised to see where it took me and couldn't help but to just laugh! But it remindes me of something that my 16 yr old sister would look at. To be honest I opened it then closed it. Iv never been into the whole Facebook online dating thing, but definatly hillarious!

I'd rather be here than in class

Yeah, I did it all by myself! Now if only I am able to remember this in the future, that is the true challenge. Now i can continue to dream about my vacation. Not really I have been to many tropical islands, next i would like to visit the Greek islands, which have some historical knowledge behind it.

CIS 120 Winter 2011

Hello to all! This is my first blog experience. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it yet, but my goal is to keep an open mind. I must say it's an exciting experience to be able to excel in technology. Although I'm interested in viewing new ways to freely speak my mind, I'm still weary to expose myself to all the twittering, myspace, and facebook jazz. Good luck to myself!
